Dearest Diary,
While the elation of such flattery continues into today, I have not had the continued attention I would begrudge. Why might I begrudge such attention, you might ask? Well, it is safe to remit that I was not in any way taken by Mr. Alex from Morocco. It was simply nice to have been noticed.
As for today, Lady Pigeon spent the morning being bathed and trimmed while Sister and I celebrated with Mother and Father in the waters behind the estate. Have I remitted to you that a most anticipated anniversary approaches on Sunday. On the 13th of June, Mother and Father will have been wed forty years. A very great monument indeed. There is much to take place over the next few days and I shall certainly keep you abreast of it all. Would that you were all here to celebrate with them. I am certain they should appreciate it. Nevertheless, there are a great many celebrations to attend along the way. I am sure that Happiness shall be in abundance.
The Granada estate begs some attention, however and I shall therefore leave you that I might tidy up a bit. Until tomorrow...
