Dearest Diary,
It has been many days that I have prayed for one such as this. And as exhaustion befalls me yet again, I do not feel the anticipated relief I had hoped I would. For many it has been a long evening. And as a result, I am somewhat heavily burdened by the absence of certain children. Additionally I find myself a bit restless at the thought of the many weeks with naught to do but dangle my feet in the waters in the rear of the estate. I am certain I shall return to the schoolhouse from time to time in the summer months and I shall begin the weekly journey to the county Bay for the next round of lectures at the University. But this does not begin for at least a fortnight. Is there some other amusement I can defer to for the time between? And what of this search I have spoken of? Where might I expect to be introduced to such a handsome creature?
Would that it should occur on the morrow...
